South Florida foreclosure sales strong in 2012

Foreclosure sales in 2012 increased 6 percent in Miami-Dade County, and Broward and Palm Beach counties both registered a decrease, according to RealtyTrac.The activity is still significant in South Florida however, with foreclosure sales making up 32 percent of all activity in Miami-Dade, 25 percent of sales in Broward and 28 percent of activity in Palm Beach.The average sales price reached $137,375 in Miami-Dade, $129,664 in Broward and $124,794 in Palm Beach.In the fourth quarter, activity…
